The Wine Guardian DS050 Ducted Split Wine Cellar Cooling Unit - 60 HZ with ductable fan-coil is perfect for medium-sized residential and commercial wine rooms with volumes ranging from 650 to 3,000 cubic feet. It's a ducted split wine cooling unit with a maximum capacity of 6,300 BTU/H (1.55 Kilowatts). You must have a qualified contractor install the DS050 Wine Guardian cooling unit.

To ensure your wine collection is in the best condition, it's important to maintain the ideal wine cellar humidity levels. Temperature control alone isn't enough, therefore we advise using Wine Guardian Humidifiers. Although these humidifiers may not be mandatory, we strongly suggest purchasing one for your wine cellar. You have the option of attaching the Integrated Humidifier directly to your DS050 wine cooler unit, or you can opt for the Wine Guardian Freestanding Humidifier if you prefer it to be separate.

Fan-coil Options:

• Standard: Base model with coated evap coil.
• Standard w/ All Wine Temperatures (AWT): This bundle includes a factory-mounted heater and extended controls to adjust your wine room to serving temperatures.

Condensing Options:

• Standard: Base model with Low Ambient Protection – protects the system from cold temperatures below 5°C (40°F).
• Extreme Climate Protection: This bundle offers protection to the condenser section of the unit only during extreme climate conditions. It is necessary to use it to ensure continuous operation in climates where temperatures drop below 20°F. It allows the system to function even in temperatures as low as -20°F.

It's similar to standard residential ducted mini split systems, with the evaporator and condenser sections connected by copper tubing. This makes the installation process familiar. If you need to mount the wine cooling unit against a wall or ceiling, there are multiple duct configurations possible without having to remove any internal components.

If you need to measure the temperature and humidity levels outside the cellar, you can connect an additional controller and remote sensors to get accurate readings.
