The Medela Vario 18 Suction Pump includes front and side brackets to hang canisters, tubing with coupling pieces to connect the canister and filter (#0770931), and disposable overflow protection/bacteria filters (#0770571).

The Vario 18 is a medium-vacuum medical suction pump for hospitals, clinics, and home care. It removes surgical fluids, bodily fluids, tissue, bone, gases, and infectious materials. It can be used for applications such as aspiration, ears, nose, and throat (ENT), tracheostomy, and gastroenterology (Vario 18 AC/DC c/i only). It can be used in wound drainage, airway support, and respiratory support.

Variable vacuum levels make the Vario 18 indispensable in hospitals - simply adjust the vacuum by pushing down the button and turning it. Not only are settings precise, but the safety push-button also prevents accidental re-adjustment.
