Durston Heavy Duty 12" Guillotine Shear - 1195
This is a real workhorse. The quality of the Durston Guillotine shears is outstanding. This is a tool that will last a lifetime in the professional jewelry shop, and can put up with the demands of institutional use.
Will cut up to 300mm (12") wide by 4mm (0.156" or 8 gauge) thick non-ferrous metal and 2.5mm (12 gauge) mild steel. Precision ground, hardened and tempered blade. Blade can be turned round 4 times before it needs sharpening; so will give a lifetime of work for many users. Open back, allowing for any length of sheet. Long pulling bar making cutting easy. Guard situated at front of blade. Easy to read adjustable 12" ruler rod with an adjustable stop allows for repeatable lengths of cut up to the maximum length of 12" (remove the stop for making longer length cuts). Squared front with 2 tightening screws. The main base measures 470mm (18-1/2") x 210mm (8-1/4"). Overall dimensions are 625mm (24-1/2") x 470mm (18-1/2") exlcuding handle.
