The Mastodon system boasts fewer components and provides free and clear spans up to 85′ in either direction, ensuring there is no significant sag. The poles are pre-prepared to accept our cable tensioning hardware, making installation straightforward and requiring no special tools. This innovative cable tensioning system, comprised of galvanized hardware, ensures your net will hang perfectly, providing a stable and secure training environment.
This double batting cage system includes single or multi-stall options, galvanized steel carabiners, #42 Bear Trap Net, and structural steel poles with a corrosion-resistant coating. All poles are corrosion-dipped, finished with STRYK 5388, and sealed with a welded top cap to prevent internal corrosion. STRYK 5388 forms a solid coating that bonds to the substrate, preventing corrosion even if the coating is scratched or damaged. This coating is highly impermeable to moisture, remains flexible and elastic in extreme temperatures, and does not support fungal growth in humid or water-immersed environments.
